I bought TEA POWDER but when you pour the water the little balls turns leaves?

Is this tea powder?? I meant I am english as a second language speaker but I understand powder like instant powder,

Hope you understand.I bought TEA POWDER but when you pour the water the little balls turns leaves?
I think perhaps you purchased LOOSE LEAF tea. This should be placed inside of a tea ball or strainer before dunking in the hot water. The image below gives one example of a tea ball.

Good luck.I bought TEA POWDER but when you pour the water the little balls turns leaves?
If you go to adagio.com, they have tea of all kinds and how to prepare it. Very good site.
Use a whisk to stir as you add the water, if you don't have a whisk, stir briskly with a fork while adding the water.
Joshua is correct. You probably bought some gunpowder tea which is actually black tea that is oxidized and forms a ball. There are other types of tea like this: Jasmine for one.

If the tea does not look like powder, it probably isn't instant. You're actually better off drinking that. It's a pretty fascinating thing watching those little balls unfurl into tea leaves, isn't it?
Actually this means you probably got a better grade of tea. You will need to strain the leaves out if they bother you but I'd give it a try.
i can see why people here are confused as well as you. i am a tea enthusiast. while powder should be powder, sometimes it's not. the brand ';twinnings'; from england, makes a kind called ';gunpowder';. it is in fact, little balls that are rolled up leaves. if you want actual powder, you have to look for ';instant'; teas.

unless you are wanting to practice the tea ceremony, i wouldn't suggest instant teas. they loose a lot of flavoring when being processed. the twinings brand has some of the best tea around and carries a wide variety of flavors from around the world. i don't suggest the ever so popular lipton tea. but than again, i am picky, because i really like tea.

i hope this helps and that you could easily understand me.
